Reports say that the Nigeria Civil Authority Agency (NCAA) and early responders were remarkable.

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirmed there were no casualties.

Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, General Manager, Corporate Affairs of FAAN, in a statement issued on Saturday, said that the runway had since been cleared for normal flight operations to continue.

According to her, the incident occurred during a downpour on Saturday at the airport.
