The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Thursday said 20 ships at the Lagos ports were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, fuel, container, bulk sugar, trucks and frozen fish.

According to a Nigerian Ports Authority shipping position report, the ships are also discharging automobile gasoline and butane gas.

It added that 20 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected from Jan. 20 to Feb. 2.

The authority said that the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

It indicated that the ships contained general cargo, bulk sugar, container, frozen fish, base oil, bulk salt, bulk coal, ethanol, fuel and butane gas.

Meanwhile, nine other ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with general cargo, plaster and bulk sugar.
