The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Tuesday said that 22 ships had arrived the Lagos Port Complex and discharging foodstuffs and other commodities.
The NPA said that the ships were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, frozen fish, soya bean meal, plaster, bulk sugar and raw crude salt.
The authority said that 20 other ships were expected to arrive the port between Feb. 8 and Feb. 15.
It added that the ships expected were laden with bulk wheat, general cargo, frozen fish, bulk salt, sugar, butane gas and bulk gypsum.
NPA indicated that 11 other ships had arrived the port and were waiting to berth with general cargo, frozen fish, bulk sugar and containers.
