The mission was led by World Bank Task Team Leader, Dr. Manievel Sene, and his colleagues from the Bank.

They held a hybrid opening session at the project’s National Coordination Office (NCO) in Abuja, with key stakeholders in attendance.

These stakeholders include National Project Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Jobdi, NCO management and staff, as well as relevant MDA representatives, including the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD).

Others include the FMARD Projects Coordinating Unit (PCU), Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, State Project Coordinators and staff of the participating states and other stakeholders.

The mission’s main objective is to assess the project’s overall implementation status across all components towards its closing date of Sept. 30.

It is also to update the agreed time-bound action plan for the project’s successful completion and closure.
