Lagos, July 25, 2023: The Naira on Monday depreciated against the dollar, exchanging at N792.04 at the Investors and Exporters window.

The Naira lost by 1.83 per cent when compared with N777.82 for which it exchanged for the dollar after the close of business on July 21.

The open indicative rate closed at N774.50 to the dollar on Monday.

A spot exchange rate of N855 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N792.04.

The naira sold for as low as N650 to the dollar within the day’s trading.

A total of 49.46 million dollars was traded at the investors and exporters window on Monday.
