The state APC Chairman , Abdullahi Abbas, said the decision to suspend Ganduje by some officials if his ward was null and void.

Abbas spoke after an emergency meeting of the State Working Committee

Abbas accused one Inusa Sulaiman Dawanau, and his cohorts of being behind the illegal suspension of the national Chairman, accusing them of anti party activities.

Inusa Suleiman Dawanau who is the Chairman APC Ganduje’s ward, had announced the suspension Ganduje over alleged corruption

Abbas said : “We have it on good authority that these group of disloyal members have been hobnobbing with ruling NNPP led administration in the state to execute a destablisation act within the party.

”We have evidence of meetings between the State Government officials and those that suspended the National Chairman, and state working committee has agreed to sanctioned them for six months and they stand for suspended”.

Dr. Ganduje was reported suspended as a member of his ward in Kano State.

Executive members of Ganduje ward, in DawakinTofa local government area of Kano State, on Monday announced the suspension of Ganduje over alleged corruption.

Addressing journalists in the state capital, the legal adviser of the ward in Ganduje, Haladu Gwanjo, said the former Kano Governor is alleged to have committed gross misconduct and misappropriation of public funds during his administration in Kano.

Gwanjo revealed that members resolved to suspend Ganduje’s membership after a vote of no confidence passed on him due to his inability to clear his name from a wide range of allegations of corruption, particularly the widely circulated video where he allegedly received dollars as a bribe from a contractor.
