This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday by Alhaji Danjuma Muhammad, the
Deputy Chairman
IMPI.

He said that Dr. Akinsiju was conferred with a doctorate degree in development communication after about five years of tedious lectures, examination, and a rigorous defense of the thesis by a team of the University’s professors and external examiners.

The Independent Media and Policy Initiative notes that since its formation less than a year ago, it’s chairman Dr. Akinsiju has displayed studious desire to excel in academics, even as he continuously led the charge in critically evaluating the policies of the President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

It is on record that IMPI has in the course of their activities issued sixteen policy statements centered around the policies, achievements and challenges of the Tinubu administration.

We pray that God Almighty will continue to grant him the strength and wisdom to lead IMPI to greatness.
