The National ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken full control of Lagos state.
The party recorded a landslide victory in the July 12 local government elections in Lagos State.
It secured all 57 chairmanship seats and 375 out of 376 councillorship positions.
The Chairman of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), Justice Mobolanle Abidemi Okikiolu-Ighile (Rtd.), announced the results during a press briefing on Sunday afternoon.
He noted that the only councillorship seat not won by the APC was in Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA), which was clinched by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
