Wema Bank woos customers to attract inflow of FOREX

The Wema Bank is offering customers various services to enhance banking experience through the opening of Domiciliary Accounts to complement existing naira account.

With Domiciliary Plus Account, the Bank in emails to customers on Saturday said that customers would receive foreign currency transfers and inflows directly to their personal domiciliary account.

Customers would also have “access to a dollar denominated debit card for foreign currency payments’’.

The would also have access to USD Mastercard Debit Card for online/web payments and withdrawal at ATMs abroad.

The customers would also get interest payment of up to 0.5% per annum, subject to maintaining a minimum balance of $1,000 and not more than 4 withdrawals per month.

The accounts would also enable creation of investment in foreign currency through a fixed deposit or USD Goals.
