The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Tuesday said 16 ships conveying containers with assorted goods were being expected to berth at Lagos ports from Sept. 13 to 21.
It listed the goods to include bulk wheat, frozen fish, general cargo, bulk sugar, bulk urea, butane gas, ethanol and crude soya bean oil.
The NPA also stated that 17 ships were already discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, petrol, frozen fish, pet coke, container, bulk urea, butane gas, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar and automobile gasoline at the ports.
It added that some other ships had arrived the ports with premium motor spirit (petrol) and were waiting to berth.
