Mr Babawande Afolabi, Chief Executive Officer, made this known in a statement by Omolara Kehinde, Brand and Marketing head on Tuesday in Lagos.

The Jump Air is an European ACMI and charter airline that was established in 2020 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The airline provides short and long term charter services for passengers and cargo fleets.

Afolabi said the ATR72-500 aircraft was leased to the airline and would be delivered in third quarter of the year after regulatory approvals.

“Green Africa is on track for its next phase of growth and we are pleased to welcome the aircraft from Jump Air.

“It will help strengthen some of our existing routes while also spreading the reach of Green Africa to serve customers across the country,” he said.

Mr Dovydas Jurgelevicius, Accountable Manager, Jump Air said that the airline remained committed to supporting airlines across the world.

“Green Africa has built a strong foundation since entering service in 2021 and we are proud to support Green Africa’s expansion as it celebrates its first two years of operation.” he said.
