The Managing Director of GACN, Mr Olalekan Ogunleye said this during the company’s 2021 End of Year Dinner/Award with the theme “Continuity, Culture and Excellence’’.

The management emphasised that the growth of gas utilisation could be actualised in collaboration with all key gas sector participants.

The GACN was incorporated in Nigeria in Jan. 2021 with the purpose of stimulating growth of natural gas utilisation in the Nigerian domestic market among others.

“Giving the consistent support from the Federal Government, Ministry of Petroleum Resources (MPR) and Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), there is no excuse for not achieving the mandate,’’ Ogunleye said.

The event recorded the recognition of some members of the company for outstanding performance.

Among them are Maryam Saleh as Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) Champion and Ogheneovo Orighohegha as HSSE Champion runner up.
