Mrs Ndidi Mbah, General Manager, Public Affairs, in a statement in Abuja on Saturday, said that the maintenance would take place between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.

Mbah said that the maintenance work would affect four 33kV feeders through which supply is given to Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC).
She said that consequently, there will be bulk power interruption for eight hours in that area.

”We sincerely apologise for every inconvenience this would cause electricity consumers who are supplied from this transformer.

”This is necessary to create a safe working environment for the maintenance crew. Supply will be restored immediately after the maintenance work.,”she said.
